Phil Martin is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, but has been playing the drums as his first instrument for over 15 years, although his drumming career really started 10 years prior to that with a series of pots and pans on his parents’ kitchen floor! Since then he has practiced, recorded, attended music colleges and played all over the world and with many wonderful wonderful musicians. Phil has been lucky to work in the pop industry and has also done an 18-month spell in London’s West End, playing the part of Ringo in the musical ‘Let it Be’. 

These days, Phil’s main passions are writing and recording new music, and he spends much of his time collaborating with many of his songwriter friends, whilst still working hard as both a drummer and a bass player. He is involved in music at his church in London and enjoys being part of any project that seeks after God’s heart in worship.
